My twin boys just turned 3 yrs old and I have been looking for gifts to give them that will entertain them for hours and also be good for learning. I have been leaning more towards open-ended toys because they offer independence and allow your child to be imaginative in the way s/he plays.

So for this year, that is what I was looking for.

Doctors Bag

I love this doctor’s bag for pretend play. It comes with wooden items that are perfect for your toddler to pretend play with. Milo has been taking this bag everywhere and it’s the cutest thing when he randomly opens up the bag and tries to treat someone.

Musical Instruments

I have been eyeing this home musical set for quite some time! I love that it has an assortment of instruments and they are all wooden! My kids have been playing with them since they opened their gifts!

Learning Toys

Alphabet Flash Cards

This set of alphabet and number flashcards is great for helping them learn their letters and numbers! I was pleasantly surprised that the numbers and letters are wooden and the paper is very thick so its durable which is something that I need with two energetic toddlers!

Building Toys

Playmags 150 Piece Set

Magnetic Tiles are great for open-ended play. There are a lot of possibilities that could come out of playing with these and I am so excited for the boys to start playing with them.

Cars and Roads

Waytoplay Roads

I didn’t get them any cars this time but I wanted to grab this waytoplay road. I have seen Instagram pics of these roads and they looked so fun to play with. They actually have different sizes: Race Track Road which has 40 pcs, Highway has 24 pieces, Expressway which has 16 pcs, and Ringroad has 12 pcs. I ended up getting the Race Track Road because I wanted the one with the most pieces.

Scooters

The boys have been loving these scooters! They ride them all over the house and everywhere we go! I love that they have a seat because that’s the only way they use them, plus they light up when they go fast so that’s another plus! The helmets were purchased separately.

Clothing

Sneakers

My sister bought them these roux sneakers! They wouldn’t have been my first option because they look girly(lol) but I love them. Nothing wrong with a little color!

Nike Track Suits

These were last-minute buys. I actually wanted to get them sneakers but we saw these outfits and I thought they would be nice as their birthday outfits. They seem to be really high quality so hopefully, they’ll last us a few months lol!
